Work at STEAMWORKS

STEAMWORKS needs people with a passion for science and teaching to join us as activity officers! We’re looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, reliable and energetic individuals to help us at our workshop programmes for school children across South Yorkshire. In the role you’ll lead a classroom full of kids through fun science and technology activities, getting them excited and inspired by STEM from an early age.

It’s the perfect opportunity to gain experience in teaching and develop your planning, organisation, leadership, communication and team-working skills. So, if you think you have what it takes to engage a group of children in science, technology, engineering, art, maths and making, sign up today!

Anyone with an interest in STEM and working with classes of primary school-aged children can sign up. While past experience is desirable, it’s by no means essential as we’ll give you all the training you need.
